Empowering the Community, One Interaction at a Time.
Real justice starts with education. Saffold Law is committed to stepping out of the courtroom and into the community to provide the tools, knowledge, and support needed to navigate the legal system confidently.

Prevention Through Education
Many legal tragedies—from escalated police encounters to exploitative contracts—happen simply because people do not know their rights until it is too late.
Quintin D. Saffold believes that a lawyer’s duty extends beyond representing clients; it includes elevating the community. Through our outreach programs, we aim to demystify the law, break down systemic barriers, and build a pipeline of diverse talent for the next generation of legal leaders.
Our Core Initiatives
We partner with schools, churches, and non-profits to deliver high-impact programming.
1. "Know Your Rights" Workshops
We host interactive seminars tailored for youth and adults on how to safely navigate interactions with law enforcement.
- Traffic Stops: What to say (and what not to say) to protect your record and your safety.
- Search & Seizure: Understanding when police need a warrant and how to assert your 4th Amendment rights.
- Protest Safety: Legal guidance for activists and demonstrators.
2. Second Chance Expunction Clinics
A past mistake shouldn’t determine your future. We organize free legal clinics where we help eligible citizens:
- Check their criminal history eligibility.
- File petitions for Expunction or Non-Disclosure.
- Remove barriers to housing and employment caused by old arrest records.
3. Small Business & Creator Legal Labs
Empowering entrepreneurs in underserved communities. We provide free or low-cost guidance on:
- Business Formation: How to set up an LLC properly.
- IP Protection: Basics of copyright and trademark for aspiring artists and musicians.
- Contract Basics: How to avoid predatory vendor agreements.
4. The Future Lawyers Mentorship Program
Representation matters. We actively mentor minority high school and college students interested in law careers.
- Internships: Providing real-world experience in a law firm environment.
- LSAT Prep Support: Helping break down the financial barriers to law school admission.
- Mock Trial Coaching: Quintin Saffold volunteers to coach local high school debate and mock trial teams.
Building Bridges
We believe in the power of collaboration. We work closely with:
- Civil Rights Organizations: Supporting the NAACP and local advocacy groups.
- Universities & Law Schools: Partnering with legal clinics to expand our reach.
- The Arts Community: Sponsoring events that celebrate local culture and creativity.
